THE SINGER/SONGWRITER

THE SINGER/SONGWRITER ⋆

Bridgette Tatum isn’t just an Artist/Songwriter — she’s a force. Born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, she cut her teeth on grit, God, tent revivals, and country music. By 2009, she was making history with the Most Played Song on Country radio across the U.S. — the platinum-selling smash “She’s Country” (Jason Aldean) spent two weeks at #1, had over a million + spins, and outsold every genre. That’s not luck. That’s fire.

In 2010, her anthem “Loud” was tapped as the Official Theme Song for ACC Football — blasting through 27 million households, with a rowdy music video to match (she’ll admit it: Clemson Tigers through and through baby!).

Bridgette doesn’t stop at one lane. From her own solo records (“I Like My Cowboys Dirty,” “That’s Love Y’all,” “Hillbilly Rockstar”) to cuts with heavy hitters — Gretchen Wilson (“Summertime Town”), Randy Houser (“Back”), Kristy Lee Cook (“Lookin’ for a Cowgirl”), The Farm (“Farm Party”), Ashley Cooke (“Jealous of the Sky”), Trisha Yearwood, and even George Clinton — she’s stacked a catalog that proves she can write it, sing it, and own it.

Behind the glass as a producer, she’s equally as dangerous. Bridgette has been shaping sounds for artists like The Lockets, Uncle Si & The Sicotics (Duck Dynasty), Emma Zinck, Danae Hays, and more. Her pen even reached TikTok star and 615 House founder Ashley Cooke, whose “Jealous of the Sky” (co-written with Bridgette) has racked up over a million streams/views, helping an artist reach their path of success.

In 2022, she launched SoNash Publishing, then doubled down with her own vision: Tatum Town — a hub for mentoring, producing, and developing artists who bring something fresh and fearless. “It’s about using our gifts not just for who we connect to,” she says, “but to grow new generations of artistry and see their vision through.”

That vision has exploded into songwriter showcases and the community. Bridgette Tatum & Friends, born in Nashville and ongoing for 10 + years, is now expanding nationwide! In 2024, she partnered with Stable Reserve in Franklin, TN, to launch the Stable Songwriter Series, with festival projects lining up around the corner. In one of her most defining chapters yet, and a complete full circle of one of her greatest influences, she had the honor of sitting down with Leslie Satcher and Beth Bernard to pen three songs with Trisha Yearwood for Trisha’s first-ever songwriter album, The Mirror —  to include the title cut “The Mirror”, “Bringing the Angels” and “Little Lady” in 2025.

Music is just part of the mission. Bridgette pours her time and heart into charities across Middle Tennessee and beyond, living out her belief: “If it’s real and you’re makin’ honest music, people connect. Do it with integrity and passion, and it reflects not just your gift, but your soul.”

Unapologetic. Fearless. Purpose-driven. Bridgette Tatum is proving, yet again, that she’s not just in the room — she is the room and she’s just getting started.
